Removed the mature content warning since there's not much blood (and no gapping wounds or guts hanging out or anything). Just a bit around the 'wolf's muzzle and on the deer's neck.

My entry for this 's bi-weekly challenge. This challenge's theme is Instinct. I wanted to portray a werewolf hunting because although he could have just picked up an angus burger from the Harvey's down the street, he chose to hunt anyway. Why, when getting take out is so much easier? Because it's his wolf instincts.

Also, I just finished Bitten by Kelly Armstrong today. The main reason this werewolf is blonde (besides me wanting to make him distinctly werewolf-ish instead of big grey wolf-ish) is that Clay is one of my favourite characters from the book. Clay is blonde and a werewolf, therefore this is Clay XD

A bit about the piece. I could not draw paws to save my life while I was doing this! I drew and re-drew them a million times and could not get it right. The deer's antler is also messed up. I probably could have added more shadows and lightened the background but all things considered, I like how this came out. Wish me luck with the contest!
